Eucalipto - Colombia

Eucalipto - Colombia

from CA$21.50

The farm, Eucalipto, is owned by Juan Camilo Chincunque, in the municipality of Talbon de Gomez, in Nariño, Colombia.

The region of Nariño in Colombia is distinct with its rugged, steep mountains, valleys and plateaus, and lush, green grasslands and forests. With average altitudes of 1900-2300m, the coffees are dense, showcasing intense flavours and acidity.

The community of Los Alpes enjoys a preferred climate for coffee growing, however, it’s success is recent, as instability from coca production and narco-trafficking has been a large factor in this community for the past half-century. This activity has been under control for the past ten years, and producers like Juan Camilo have seen prosperity with high prices for their coffees

This coffee, grown at 1900m, showcases an intense brightness, with notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, and bright, lively acidity.
